Description

Structural Composition

The polyurethane edge banding rock wool board consists of three layers of functional materials, foamed and formed in one step on a fully automated continuous production line.

Surface Layer (Metal Panel): The top and bottom layers use high-quality galvanized or aluminized zinc color steel sheets, with stainless steel and aluminum sheets as options, providing strength and weather resistance.

Core Layer (Insulation Core Material): The core is filled with high-density rock wool, and the fiber structure perpendicular to the panel ensures excellent fire resistance and thermal insulation performance.

Edge Sealing (Polyurethane Sealant): The longitudinal joints around the edges of the board are completely sealed with rigid polyurethane. This dense polyurethane edge sealing not only eliminates thermal bridging at the board seams but also completely isolates the rock wool core from external moisture, greatly improving the overall airtightness, watertightness, and mechanical strength of the board.

This structure of “two steel plates + rock wool core + four-sided polyurethane edge sealing” fundamentally solves the problems of traditional pure rock wool boards, such as easy moisture absorption, significant thermal bridging, and insufficient strength.

Sound Insulation: Weighted sound insulation Rw ≥ 30 dB (typical value for 100mm thick plate).

Bending Capacity: Designed according to span and load, mid-span deflection ≤ L/200.
