How to build a 3600 square meter steel warehouse in Angola

Project Name: Large-Scale Warehousing and Logistics Center

Project Location: Angola

Services Offered: One-stop solution (3D model design, steel structure manufacturing, booking and transportation, installation guidance)

Project Description:

Yirong Steel Structure recently completed a large-scale warehouse project for an Angolan client, providing a full-process one-stop service from design to delivery. The project has a total building area of 3600 sq m, measuring 72 meters long and 50 meters wide. It employs a classic portal frame structure design, ensuring a large span and high load-bearing capacity.

In terms of structural design, all steel components are manufactured using high-quality Q355B steel, ensuring a building lifespan of up to 50 years. The main beams and columns use H-beams connected by high-strength bolts, ensuring structural stability and seismic performance. C-beams are used for the purlins, balancing economy and structural strength.

The building’s base is enclosed by a 3-meter-high brick wall, providing both durability and moisture protection. The upper walls are constructed with 900mm wide color-coated metal panels, while the roof is covered with 840mm wide color-coated steel panels, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing and practical overall enclosure system. An open roof ridge is specially designed to balance natural lighting and ventilation, effectively improving the air quality inside the warehouse. To accommodate storage needs, a 24m x 10m mezzanine is included, increasing usable space. Furthermore, PVC drainage pipes are installed around the building, and roller shutters are fitted at the main entrance, providing comprehensive functionality.

All steel structural components for this project were manufactured in-house by Yirong Steel Structure, which also handled booking, shipping, and remote installation guidance, fully demonstrating our end-to-end service capabilities in international engineering projects.
