Design scheme for double-layer steel workshop in the Philippines

Yirong Steel Structure has tailored a double-story steel workshop design for the Philippines, focusing on efficient space utilization and functional integration. It fully considers local climate characteristics and industrial needs, showcasing both scientific and practical advantages.

The project adopts a double-story frame structure. The double-pitched roof design optimizes drainage efficiency and enhances natural ventilation through its slope, adapting to the high-temperature environment of the tropical region. The main beams and columns use Q355 high-strength H-beams, whose excellent tensile strength and wind and earthquake resistance ensure structural stability in the typhoon-prone climate of the Philippines. C-shaped steel is used for the roof purlins; the lightweight material reduces the load while ensuring ease of construction and cost control.

The project has an overall length of 25 meters, a width of 35 meters, and a first-floor height of 5.8 meters. The spatial layout is clearly divided into two functional areas: an office area on the left and a storage space on the right. This separation of active and quiet areas caters to both daily management and material storage needs.

Breaking away from the limitations of traditional single-material wall construction, the office area facade features extensive use of transparent glass curtain walls, allowing ample natural light and creating a bright and comfortable working environment. The remaining areas are covered with metal insulation panels, providing heat insulation, moisture resistance, and durability, meeting the warehouse’s requirements for stable temperature and humidity. The roof is uniformly covered with color steel plates, with a special coating treatment to enhance UV resistance and weather resistance. Combined with a double-slope drainage system, it effectively resists water erosion during the rainy season.

As the core operating area, the warehouse is equipped with electric roller shutter doors to meet the rapid loading and unloading needs of large trucks. The doors operate smoothly and have strong sealing, balancing efficiency and dust prevention. A dedicated elevator located adjacent to the warehouse allows for precise vertical transport of goods, significantly improving warehousing turnover efficiency.

The overall solution, through the high flexibility and modular advantages of the steel structure system, not only shortens the construction cycle but also provides an integrated solution for production, management, and storage in the Philippine industrial setting with precise functional zoning and humanized details. This demonstrates Yirong Steel Structure’s technological expertise and localized design capabilities in overseas projects.
