5,000sqm steel structure warehouse with office building solution in Chile
This project is a modern industrial complex with a total area of over 5000 square meters in the Chilean region, including a main steel structure warehouse and supporting office buildings. The overall construction adopts an industrialized form, balancing practicality and economy.
The warehouse is the core functional area, with a building area of 4304 square meters, a single story design, and a eaves height of 10.5 meters. The main structure is made of Q355 high-strength H-shaped steel for beams and columns, and the nodes are connected by high-strength bolts to ensure structural stability and construction efficiency. The outer protective wall and roof are both made of EPS composite sandwich panels (EPS roof panels are also provided for the roof), which have the advantages of insulation, lightweight, and durability. The warehouse entrance is equipped with a 6-meter x 6-meter large sliding door to meet the needs of large goods entering and exiting.
The office building is independently located in front of the warehouse and consists of two auxiliary functional areas with a floor plan size of 39.8 meters by 13.4 meters and a floor height of 7 meters. The main framework continues the steel structure system, and the roof adopts a steel truss structure to enhance span adaptability. The outer perimeter is also made of EPS sandwich panels (exterior walls and roof), with PVC windows and double glass doors for doors and windows, taking into account both transparency and office space lighting requirements.
The overall plan is guided by efficiency, economy, and adaptability. By combining standardized steel structures with composite panels, it meets the needs of Chile’s local industrial scene for large spaces and easy maintenance. It is a representative modern industrial building that combines functionality and development.
