PU edge-sealed rock wool wall panels packaged and shipped to Mexico
Yirong Group recently completed a successful order for industrial plant wall panels shipped to Mexico. The core material supplied was PU edge-sealed rock wool wall panels, a product that perfectly balances the Mexican market’s dual demands for Class A fire resistance and high-efficiency insulation.

The dense rock wool core provides excellent fire resistance, while the polyurethane edge-sealing technology completely blocks thermal bridges, significantly improving the wall’s airtightness and waterproofness, making it ideal for the harsh temperature variations and windy, sandy climate of the Mexican highlands.
To ensure the absolute safety of the polyurethane-edged rock wool sandwich panels during transoceanic transportation and transshipment, Yirong employed a double-layer protective film packaging process:
- Inner layer: Each wall panel is covered with a high-viscosity PE protective film to prevent scratches and stains.
- Outer layer: The entire pallet of panels is heat-shrink-sealed with thickened waterproof woven fabric and equipped with rain caps to effectively resist sea salt spray corrosion and heavy rain.
