Project Overview
As a key hub connecting North and South America, Costa Rica’s commercial warehousing has extremely high requirements for land utilization.
Building Dimensions: The project’s floor plan measures 25 meters × 21 meters, with a total building area of 525 square meters.
Two-Story Layout: The total building height reaches 12 meters. Through a rational two-story structural plan, the client achieved double the storage or office space on a limited foundation area, greatly enhancing the commercial value per unit area.
Structural Configuration
In response to Costa Rica’s rainy and seismically active environment, the Yirong technical team provided a high-standard structural configuration:
Main Frame: Beams and columns uniformly utilize H-beams. As the core of the portal frame structure, H-beams, with their superior cross-sectional properties, ensure the lateral stiffness and overall stability of the 12-meter-high building.
Secondary Structural Support: Purlins are made of precision-machined C-beams. Their lightweight and high-strength characteristics not only reduce the load on the main structure but also provide precise positioning for the enclosure system installation.
Enclosure System: Wall panels and roof panels utilize high-quality single-layer metal sheets. These sheets undergo anti-corrosion coating treatment, possessing excellent weather resistance and easily withstanding the high temperatures and heavy rainfall of the local tropical rainforest climate.
